Pregnancy Care
Initial CareAt the beginning of your pregnancy, you will be screened by the nurse to see if an early ultrasound is indicated. If so, one will be scheduled.
Your first visit is held in a group setting with other newly pregnant women and is facilitated by a Certified Nurse-Midwife. We use this time to discuss pregnancy, safety concerns, nutrition, lab testing, and common discomforts of pregnancy.
Your next visit is held one-on-one with a nurse-midwife to discuss your personal health history and includes a physical exam.
After this point you may choose one of two prenatal care options:
• New! CenteringPregnancy® Group Prenatal Care
• Routine Prenatal Care
