General Surgery Referral Information

The General and Gastrointestinal Surgery Clinic provides diagnosis, management and follow-up for patients with a broad spectrum of problems including gastrointestinal and colorectal surgery, surgery for morbid obesity, hepatobiliary surgery, oncologic surgery, trauma surgery, critical care, and nutritional support.

Staff are trained to utilize the latest techniques including endoscopy, laparoscopy and other minimally invasive techniques.

Surgeons in General Surgery use the most appropriate setting for operative procedures depending on patient needs. Facilities are available in the surgeon’s office as well as the various operating and procedure suites at both the Medical Center Campus and Fanny Allen Campus.
