The mission of the Department of Radiology is to provide exceptional care with a world class faculty and state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging technology in a caring and compassionate atmosphere. We strive for this blend of compassion, efficiency, and high quality care to provide our patients with the best possible experience in our organization.
Along with exceptional patient care, we are committed to providing first-rate postgraduate education to our Radiology Residents, Fellows, and Medical Students and working with the many departments in the Fletcher Allen/University of Vermont system to carry out cutting edge research. Our department is currently participating in numerous clinical research protocols, written and conducted by attending faculty in the department.
