Vermont and the northern New York region. Located in Burlington, Fletcher Allen is a regional, academic healthcare center and teaching hospital in alliance with the University of Vermont.

Fletcher Allen was formed on January 1, 1995 as the result of a
merger among the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont (MCHV), Fanny Allen
Hospital (FAH), and the University Health Center (UHC), with the
University of Vermont (UVM) as an affiliated partner.
