Our Department successfully fulfills the clinical, research, and educational mission of the academic medical center. Our full-time clinical faculty is comprised of subspecialists in the field of orthopedic surgery and in physiatry.
Research efforts of the Department have garnered many prestigious honors, as well as funding from the National Institutes of Health. The residency training program is highly sought after and produces well rounded orthopedic surgeons who enter academia or the private sector with equal facility.
