Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system.  Symptoms vary greatly from person to person, and can be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision.

Vermont has a high rate of multiple sclerosis, and at Fletcher Allen we are fortunate to have nationally recognized physicians who specialize in multiple sclerosis care and are on the cutting-edge of new developments in treating MS.  We provide comprehensive diagnosis, evaluation, treatment and follow-up care for patients with all forms of MS to help manage this debilitating disease.
