Patients with cystic fibrosis have access to a comprehensive program at Fletcher Allen that takes a team approach to the care and treatment of patient’s with cystic fibrosis.
Between the pediatric and adult programs, we care for approximately 130 patients on an ongoing basis.
We also participate in a variety of clinical trials and work in close association with basic science researchers at the University of Vermont interested in Cystic Fibrosis lung disease pathogenesis and the discovery of novel therapies.
We are members of the Northern New England Cystic Fibrosis Consortium, which includes the Cystic Fibrosis Centers at Maine Medical Center and Dartmouth, and participate in clinical trials and quality improvement projects with this group.
