Emergency Medicine includes a fully staffed 24-hour a day Emergency Department at Fletcher Allen’s Medical Center Campus. Fletcher Allen has earned the distinction of being designated a Level I Trauma Center. The Emergency Department is staffed by board-certified attendings and physician assistants and handles all emergencies. Residents and students also rotate through the department.
