Fletcher Allen's Emergency Department is at the ready 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, for any type of emergency.  

We are extremely proud to serve to serve as a Level I Trauma Center for the one million people who live in Vermont and northern New York, and as a community emergency room for the 150,000 residents of Chittenden County.

The Emergency Department, located on Fletcher Allen's main campus in Burlington, can be accessed from the Colchester Avenue entrance as well as the Main Street and East Avenue entrances to the campus.
