You may reach us any time: days, nights, weekends or holidays. During office hours your calls will be answered by our office receptionist. If you wish to speak to the pediatrician or nurse, please inform the secretary; she will take your number and we will call you back as soon as possible. If your call is an emergency, a pediatrician or nurse will speak with you immediately.
Telephone Nurse
We have a nurse available by phone during regular office hours to answer questions, give general advice and help you determine if your child should be seen. Please ask the secretary to forward you to the "telephone nurse" when you call.
Answering Service
After hours you will reach this service and your message will be relayed to the on-call physician. If your call is urgent, tell the operator so the physician will be called immediately. Otherwise, your call will be returned by the physician within 15-45 minutes.
Cancellations
If you find that you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can use this time for another patient. We make every effort to accommodate our patients' schedules, but rescheduling sometimes means that there will be a delay in future appointments.
