Bone, joint and muscle problems in children require specialized, expert care – to ensure your child has the best chances for healthy growth and development. At the Vermont Children’s Hospital, you’ll find a team of experienced orthopaedic specialists trained to provide the full range of treatments for your child.

Fletcher Allen's Pediatric Orthopedic Service provides care for children and adolescents with all types of musculoskeletal problems, including scoliosis, bone tumors, upper and lower extremity problems, neuromuscular disorders and other conditions.

The service also focuses on providing care for children with cerebral palsy, myelomeningocele, muscular dystrophy, and other neuromuscular disorders through the Vermont Department of Health.

As a university hospital, your child will benefit from treatments backed by research-based expertise, and access to the latest treatments and therapies available.

We believe in family-centered care that brings a personal approach to every child and family we see. Our goal is to work collaboratively with you and your other caregivers, and make sure you are well-informed at every step of your family’s care.
