Young people diagnosed with diabetes typically deal with Type I Diabetes. In this case, the body does not produce adequate insulin, but exogenous insulin (insulin injection, for example) helps the body function properly.
Although young people diagnosed with diabetes usually have Type I Diabetes, it should be noted that what type of diabetes an individual has is not always clear.
