Patient and Family Advocacy

About the Office of Patient and Family Advocacy

The Office of Patient and Family Advocacy serves as a liaison between patients and the hospital in their expressions of praise or concern so that the highest standards of care are upheld on behalf of our patients.

Our goal at Fletcher Allen is to provide you with a high-quality health care experience. Sometimes we exceed expectations, and in those cases, Patient and Family Advocacy is happy to receive your compliments and pass them along to the appropriate staff person or department.

Sometimes we fall short of your expectations. When that happens, our office is here to work with you to resolve any problems. We want to hear from you, whether you have a compliment or a concern.

We also serve as a hospitality resource during challenging times. If you have a question, we can help connect you to the appropriate resource for questions or issues related to:

  • housing and lodging
  • parking
  • meals
  • any other individual needs
