At Fletcher Allen, we are committed to providing the highest quality care for patients and families throughout the region. As part of that commitment, we offer a broad range of educational resources for our patients, their families, and community members.
- The Frymoyer Community Resource Center, staffed by health librarians, who help patients and families access reliable health information. You can submit a question to our librarians online from the comfort of your own home using our “ask a health librarian” feature.
- Free health classes to share the expertise of our physicians and staff with the community, including Community Medical School, a series of free medical lectures by Fletcher Allen/UVM physicians and researchers, and the Healthsource Community Education series, covering a variety of health and wellness topics.
- Multimedia offerings include a vast library of health videos posted on this website and on our YouTube channel; a bi-monthly radio program available online as podcasts; First with Kids, Lewis First, M.D.’s weekly TV, radio and newspaper series offering health tips to parents.
- Other health resources include tobacco cessation classes, low-cost health screenings, injury prevention and education.
