Volunteer Application Process

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Fletcher Allen.

The first step toward becoming a Fletcher Allen volunteer is to complete an on-line application on this website. Shortly after we receive your application, we will contact you to schedule an interview date. The purpose of the interview is to learn more about you, discuss possible openings, complete criminal background forms and arrange for medical screening. Please be aware that volunteer positions at Fletcher Allen are customer service-focused and do not involve direct patient care.

Time Commitment

Volunteers are a vital part of our workforce, and your contributions are integral components of the care and services offered at Fletcher Allen. In order to promote consistency for our patients and staff, we expect college students starting in September to make a weekly, two semester commitment to volunteering. Adult applicants are expected to make a six-month commitment.
