Tai Chi for Seniors - CLASS FULL

Robust health, peace-of-mind, and personal empowerment are just a few of the rewards that await the practitioner of this ancient art. During this Tai Chi class, interested participants will be introduced to Yang style Tai Chi. We will discuss how it helps with balance, mobility, reducing anxiety, improving flexibility and managing pain.

Reflexology - CLASS FULL

Stress Management through Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine

Acupuncture has been proven to decrease feelings of anxiety and depression, improve your quality of sleep and benefit your immunity. Come learn how acupuncture and oriental medicine can be used to manage your everyday stress. You will also be learning some acupressure points for relaxation that you can use on yourself at home.

Eat to Beat Stress – A Pharma-Foodie Class - CLASS FULL

Kimberly Evans, RD, Fletcher Allen Health Care

In this class we will look at the value and pleasure of using food to treat, prevent, and address chronic disease. We work with our culinary "pharmacy" (food ingredients) to design dishes that will delight our tastes and senses for the sake of creating a foundation of good health. This class will include a cooking demonstration, a nutrition education piece, and lots of sampling. 30-person limit.

Stretching for Stress  - CLASS FULL

Join this class and learn the basics of a healthy and fun everyday stretching routine. This routine can be done from a standing or sitting position. No experience is necessary; men and women of all ages with little or no stretching experience are welcome. Participants are encouraged to wear loose, comfortable clothing. 15 person limit.
