This Earth Day celebrate your nearest, dearest ecosystem – your own yard!  In this class we will discuss the biological, cultural, and political issues surrounding the use of lawn chemicals.  We will discuss ways in which residential and commercial Vermonters are reducing their use of lawn chemicals to create kid-safe, pet-safe, environmentally-friendly yards which look great and add value to your home.

With the first signs of spring, we want to clean! Spring cleaning can be a much needed reprieve from the dreary days of winter. It can also be a highly toxic time of year! In this class, Michelle will discuss green, healthy (and less expensive) ways to deep-clean without any toxic exposure. Using items already found in most kitchens, and with a few pleasant additions, this cleaning can be good for you!
