Healthsource: The Art of Growing Food

The Art of Growing Food

Ellen Ecker Ogden, author of The Complete Kitchen Garden

When it comes to planting a vegetable garden, the right design can make the difference between ordinary and extraordinary. In this slide presentation and lecture, you will learn six easy steps to inspire you with fresh ideas for creating an edible garden with an eye for aesthetics, while finding ways to make it easier to maintain and bring you more satisfaction at harvest time.  We’ll cover basics such as how to start with a plan, choose the right beds and create paths, and what to plant when your space is limited. This workshop is designed to help you re-think your vegetable patch to reflect your personality and make it more fun.
