Seasonal Affective Disorder, which typically occurs in the fall and winter, can be disruptive at work, home and affect interpersonal relationships. This presentation will provide participants with an understanding of signs and symptoms, effective treatment strategies, and help them to design a plan which addresses effective self-care. Cognitive-behavioral methods to buffer the severity of the symptoms of this type of depression will be discussed.
