Quality and Hospital Reports

At Fletcher Allen, the quality of care we provide is our highest priority.
Our James M. Jeffords Institute for Quality and Operational Effectiveness coordinates ongoing performance improvement activities throughout the organization to ensure we are providing the highest quality care in the safest possible manner.
Our Quality of Care Reports and our Hospital Report Card are two resources available to the public to learn about our performance and how our quality rankings compare to that of otherhospitals and health care systems.
Quality of Care Reports
View regularly updated information describing how Fletcher Allen performs on measures of quality for specific areas such as cardiology, children's health,surgery, neurology, orthopaedics, nursing, women's health and other areas.
Hospital Report Card
This report, issued annually, ranks Fletcher Allen’s performance on a number of national quality and financial measures. It also provides information on hospital governance, public participation in strategic planning anddecision-making, Fletcher Allen's strategic initiatives, and activities andprograms available to the public. Under state law, all Vermont hospitals are required to publish a Hospital Report Card once a year.
