Typically, adults diagnosed with diabetes deal with Type II Diabetes. In this case, the body produces insulin, but the insulin does not work properly. This is known as insulin resistance. Although Type II diabetes is typically diagnosed in adults, it should be noted that what type of diabetes an individual has is not always clear.
