Our clinical research programs have provided authoritative information regarding the rehabilitation of older patients with heart disease, prevention of disability after cardiac events, the cost-effectiveness of cardiac rehabilitation, the treatment of high cholesterol and other risk factors in cardiac rehabilitation, and the treatment of obesity in heart patients.
Our recent publications include a Medical Progress article on “Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention of Coronary Heart Disease” in the New England Journal of Medicine by Dr. Ades.
