Employee & Family Assistance Program
FLETCHER ALLEN EMPLOYEES CALL EFAP AT 847-2827
The Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) was established to meet the various needs of all employees on and off the job. We can assist employees and their family members who may be experiencing personal, family or work related difficulties, providing timely and confidential access to counseling and other helpful resources.
Fletcher Allen employees and family members can talk to EFAP about a variety of issues including:
- Parenting and family issues
- Work performance issues
- Communication difficulties (at work, at home, etc.)
- Anxiety and Depression
- Stress and change management
- Life crisis and grief
- Financial issues
- Questions about alcohol and drug use
- Group Services - consultation and services to groups of employees who are dealing with issues such as the death or loss of a colleague, stress, intra-departmental concerns or other crises.
The Fletcher Allen EFAP offers:
- Confidential, personal attention
- On and off site location with easy access
- Coverage 24-hours a day, 7-days a week
- Voluntary
- Free of charge services and referrals
- Flexible hours to accommodate work schedules
- Family centered approach
- Resources and referrals
- Group work within your department
Confidentiality and Cost:
The cornerstone of EFAP is confidentiality. Regardless of the referral source, EFAP contacts are confidential. Information does not appear in your personnel file, and is not shared without your consent. There is no cost for any of your EFAP visits. If outside referrals are made, consideration is given to your financial resources, your medical insurance provisions and your work schedule.
Work-Life Wellness Connections:
"the goal to perfectly balance our responsibilities
on the job with our responsibilities at home."
This new expansion of EFAP services and supports has been created to allow employees and their families to access safe and reliable information about a variety of health, legal, financial, family and personal resources without the need to set up an appointment with an EFAP counselor.
