Employer Health Management Services

Nurse educators from Fletcher Allen help employees set personal goals toward improved health. 

Health Management is a comprehensive approach to wellness designed to help businesses plan effective programs for employees which demonstrate measurable health and financial outcomes. 

Fletcher Allen partners with employers throughout Vermont to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate health management strategies. 

The History of Health Management

Maintaining a healthy workforce while managing rising health insurance costs is a challenging task for businesses of all sizes.  The "wellness" programs of the 80's and 90's are being replaced with an "employer health management" strategy that proactiveily utilizes a variety of individual, organizational and cultural interventions to improve and maintain the health status of their workforce.

By investing in the health and well being of their workforce employers achieve a substantial benefit in reduced absenteeism, injuries, medical and pharmaceutical claims.  Productivity and morale are improved as turnover is reduced.
