Overview
The program is under the direction of Dr. Keith J. Nagle, M.D. The attending staff consists of three faculty who have subspecialty training and expertise in clinical neurophysiology working within a robust academic Department of Neurology.
The Division of Clinical Neurophysiology serves the University of Vermont's College of Medicine and Fletcher Allen Health Care. On an annual basis we perform and interpret nearly 4,000 examinations including EEG/EP, EMG/NC, polysomnography, intraoperative monitoring, ambulatory EEG monitoring, inpatient video-EEG monitoring, autonomic testing, and transcranial magnetic stimulation.
The emphasis of the training program is in epilepsy and central clinical neurophysiology. The fellow attends a weekly epilepsy clinic as well as providing inpatient consultation. Those seeking an emphasis in peripheral neurophysiology are urged to apply to our Neuromuscular Fellowship. Salary and benefits are commensurate with a PGY5 level.
